Glencadam American Oak Reserve 40% ABV Highland single malt Scotch distillery Glencadam isn’t seen all that often – but this bourbon barrel-matured expression is worth snapping up. It’s soft, floral and has baskets of orchard fruits wrapped up in a creamy mouthfeel. A delightful springtime sipper. Nose: Magnolia and dusty pot-pourri develops into a buttery, vanilla-forward nose with nutty notes, too. Palate: A creamy mouthfeel is based on a grainy base, with Crunchie chocolate bar, sweet spices and coconut arriving, too. Finish: Medium length with gentle toffee.
