Unusually, the whisky from this Speyside maker has been matured in a refill bourbon hogshead with an eight-month ex-Armagnac cask finish. The lightness of the Glenburgie spirit is grounded in a more robust influence from the cask, resulting in a gorgeously balanced, sumptuously fruity expression. Just 313 bottles have been released.
